Why do users request access to report although they are part of an audience having access?

Hey,

I have to audiences in my app and each audience has assigned a security group wo be part of this Audience. I assigned a few users to this group via AAD group managmement but now I got requests from them to get permissions on a report. My expection is, that they will have access to the report through the audience permission. Is that wrong? Do I need to grant them access to the report manually? On the Dataset the App's audiences got access but why not on Report level?

Hi @gerritlob ,

App permissions and workspace permissions are different. It sounds like the usesrs may be trying to access some reports through the workspace (and are requesting permission there) rather than through the app.

Are the users able to access the report through the app?
