Why Power BI report can't access data source SSAS on prem?

I am trying to troubleshoot this error:

 

 

I assume it is because W00 is offline:

 

 

I rdp the server:

 

 

So, not only the gateway seems fine, also powerbi is showing the wrong version number, what is happening here? how can this be troubleshooted?

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    I would suggest clicking on the Check Status, to see if that resolves the error?

    The version number is notoriously incorrect, so I woudn't worry about that. Troubleshooting steps:

    • Disable the gateway, wait a few seconds then enable it.
    • If that doesn't work, go to the server via RDP and restart the gateway
    • If that doesn't work, reboot the server itself It could be a network issue with the networking protocol itself.

    I assume this has worked before but isn't now, correct? Not a new gateway install on this server?
