Why Is a Table Not Being Created in the Semantic Model?
I'm really shocked by this.
A couple of days ago, I created a simple Excel spreadsheet as shown in the screenshot below.
Afterward, I formatted it in the table "style" as you can see below.
Then, I uploaded this into the Power BI Service as a Semantic model.
Next, I went into Excel and navigated to Data...Get Data...From Power Platform...From Power BI.
On the right-hand side of the window, a helpful pane appeared allowing me to "Insert Table".
Today, when I take these steps with a similar spreadsheet, Excel does not see a table. In other words, the Semantic model that I created today did not "upload" the spreadsheet as a table.
Why in the world not?

Where is the spreadsheet located? Is The connection mode of your semantic model to the spreadsheet in DQ?

The spreadsheet is loaded in Microsoft Teams. What in the world is "DQ"? 🙂
