Which mode to use: On-premise data gateway or personal?

I am a new user of Power BI. I need to develop a dynamic dashboard using Power BI and share it within the organization. I don't want to upload the data to cloud. Is the on-premise data gateway the right option for this? Or should i use the "personal" option.

The on-premises data gateway acts as a bridge, providing quick and secure data transfer between on-premises data (data that is not in the cloud) and the Power BI.

Actually, the main function of them is the same. Both of them should can meet your requirement. For the difference of them, please refer to this document.
