Where can I find the size of my dataset

Hello, I am searching to get the size of my dataset and cannot find anything. You know just like in Excel or Word were in the files menu, information/properties you can see for example 3,74Ko.

That probably exists for Power BI. I searched in every menu, but do not find it.

Thanks in advance for all information

Cat

Hi @Cat_Car,

Thank you @GilbertQ for your response to the query.

Additionally, here are a few useful details:

This approach is specific to datasets in the Power BI Service. For Power BI Desktop, the dataset size corresponds to the .pbix file size you see in File Explorer.

The size displayed in Manage Group Storage represents the compressed in-memory model size, not the size of the original source data.

If your workspace uses Premium capacity, you can access detailed memory usage and trends through the Capacity Metrics App, which provides more insight into how your datasets grow over time.

For workspaces on shared capacity, remember the 1 GB dataset limit. Monitoring your dataset size helps avoid refresh or publish issues.

Thank you.
