When a paginated report is opened in the Power BI website (app.powerbi.com), the report has a search bar at the top (shown in the screenshot below) which allows you to search throughout the report.
I don't see this feature when the same report is embedded in our application. We use an embedded capacity to embed the report in the "Embed for customers" scenario. When will the search functionality be available in the embedded scenario?
Hi @OasisPowerBI ,
Hope everything is going well.
The search bar functionality is currently available when viewing paginated reports in the Power BI Service (app.powerbi.com), but is not yet available in the embedded scenario.
I recommend that you provide feedback to the Power BI team at:

Hello @v-huijiey-msft
I was hoping that you could provide more details about the search functionality in embedded reports. Is it planned to be released for embedded reports in the near future? Can you give us a timeline?
Hi @OasisPowerBI ,
You can learn about Q&A for embedded analytics, a feature that supports you in asking questions using natural language.
You can learn more about it through the following documentation:
Q&A for Power BI business users - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Q&A in Power BI embedded analytics - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
I do not have a definite answer to the question whether the feature you want will be released in the future.
I would suggest you to check Power BI Blog—Updates and News | Microsoft Power BI regularly, this site has updated content including new features.
If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.

Yang
