Power BI has several methods of automatically refreshing the data.
I am wondering when the initial refresh occurs. Does the report refresh upon opening, then then according to the schedule, or does it wait for the interval before doing the refresh?
Also, I haven't researched it much but I'll throw this in hoping for a quick answer, can some tables be automatically refreshed and others not?
Thanks

@Anonymous So for import mode datasets, the initial load of the data model comes from publishing the report to the Service from the Desktop. After that, once you setup scheduled refresh it will wait for the first initial scheduled refresh time.
You can disable refresh for queries by right-clicking them in Power Query Editor and choosing to disable Include in report refresh.
