What is the value limit for treemaps?

I've found another post in the forum asking about the limit...as they came across the same blocker as I have.  While attempting to add 1024 values, PowerBI tells me I've exceeded the value limit.  However, nowhere does it specify what that limit is exactly.  Instead of wasting my time playing Price is Right Hi-Lo games between my data and PowerBI...could someone on the PowerBI team let me know what the actual numerical limit they set is?
