What is the basic table/data for the functionality "Explore" > "See Data" ?
Hi Willborn,
Could you please post screenshots about your report and “See Records” result? I make a test by creating a stacked column chart using fields as shown in the following screenshot.
When I use “See Records” feature, I note that the table picks other text columns in my dataset except the columns used in stacked column chart. This issue of that how “See Records” works has been reported internally, once we get any updates , we will post back.
In your scenario, if you want to export data of your current report, you can use the “See Data” feature to check records and export data by selecting the “Export data” option in the following screenshot. Another workaround is to use Values pane in Visualization of the second screenshot to include, exclude columns, then export data.
Thanks,

Hi Lydia
I do not have the same screen as you have. I can't find visualizations - even not as Admin. Is there any setting to enable/disable this function?
Here is the procedure I do:
1. On the Report, I click on a chart to activate it
2. Click on "Explore > See Records"
3. Click in a chart section > this gives me the data
So far, this is a great feature as we need to divide and analyze the "good" from the "bad" stuff...
But here is the result - 12 columns...
But the table has 19 fields...
And I need 10 of them, and 2 of the date table as well as 1 from the "Business Unit" table and 1 from the "Regions" table
I'm currently using another report sheet "Data Export" as workaround, where I can eport the desired data from a table. But this is unfiltered (unless I use the report filter).

Hi Willborn,
From your description, you don't see Visualaztions Panel after you expand "See Records". Which type of visual do you create? Would you mind sharing me sample data of your dataset? I will test it in my environment.
In addition, how about right-clicking your chart and choose "See Data"? Do you get desired result using this method?
Thanks,
