What does a dataset backup include?
Hi,
We are discussing implementing Power BI Premium in our company, one of the main drivers is the option of backing up datasets. But we can't test what the backups include. Does it also save dataset configuration, such as scheduled refreshes? How about incremental refresh datasets, do those work with backups?
Are there any other backup solutions that don't require us going premium?

The backup will backup the dataset (Think of it as backing up all the data inside a database, or it is all the data in an Excel file). The backup will be the entire dataset including all the incremental refreshed data.
Anything else outside of the dataset such as scheduled refreshes and reports WILL NOT be backed up because it sits outside of the dataset. You will need to have a copy of the PBIX files which should ideally be stored in SharePoint/Onedrive!
