Hey guys and gals,
I have a report connected via DirectQuery and I want to sent it out daily via the Subsrcribe function in the service.
But at what time of the day will the email be sent? I would prefer it to be sent around 6 PM.
Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,
It seems that the feature to set specific time for subcription is not supported in Power BI currently.
You could vote this similar idea which has been submitted in Power BI ideas forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
Actually, the email will send to you when the underlying datasets change. If the dashboard or report refreshes more than once a day, the email is only sent after the first refresh.
For the workaround, you could set your schedule refresh to be 6PM weekly. When the data refreshed, it will send you email around 6 PM.
Best Regards,
Cherry

Hey Cherry,
Thanks for the reply 🙂
I just upvoted the idea. Crossing my fingers.
Because my report is connected via DirectQuery, it updates every 15 minutes. So I should expect the email to be sent just after midnight?
Thanks 🙂
