Weekly subscription on daily refreshing report

I have reports/dashboards based on a dataset with a daily scheduled refresh.

When subscribing from the workspace to get updates via email, i can choose daily/weekly which is fine.

However, when I publish the app and navigate to that in order to manage subscriptions (which is what users would normally do), manually changing the email frequency seems to be impossible - it is automatically sent out every day after refresh.

Is this behaviour really intended or did i do something wrong?

Could you show a screenshot where is the "daily/weekly" setting?

i test on my site but only find something like you screenshot without this setting.

it is automatically sent out every day after refresh

if the data source is direct query, both 'Weekly' and 'Daily' options are available.

Or if data source is import, when the refresh schedule is daily, options are daily and weekly.

when the refresh schedule is weekly only option is weekly.

I am aware of the link you posted and find the information given to be somewhat inconsistent with my experience 😉

The datasource is import (from an Oracle DB).

Here is a screenshot from the subscription dialog on the dashboard from the workspace-area, where i can choose between daily and weekly. This is the option which is not available to me from the app-area.
