Web Api in Power Query Online error message

Copy / Paste Web datasource from Power BI Desktop Power Query to Power BI service Power Query Online is not possible 

 

and adding the source as Web API source is not working ... error message:

 

Is there a problem with Web Source and/or Web API Source ?

    Assuming this is an on-premise web source I think you need to declare a gateway connection for it.

    No all cloud based ... but it looks like WEB API connector needs Gateway anyway ... strange and not expected !
