Warehouse forced migration concern - October Deadline
Hi mpros
Thanks for clarifying. Since Fabric is enabled and your Datamarts are working fine, the issue is likely with how the Gen2 Dataflow is connecting to the Warehouse. A few quick checks:
- Make sure the Warehouse is in the same workspace as your Dataflow.
- In Dataflow settings, confirm that the destination is set to Warehouse (sometimes it defaults to Lakehouse).
- Check that your workspace role is Contributor or higher, otherwise it won’t let you write.
- Try a very simple test table to see if the issue happens with all loads or just your current one.
If it still fails, it may be a current limitation with Warehouse + Gen2 Dataflows, so raising a support ticket would be the safest option.
Hi rohit1991
- Same workspace data and and owning rights of the workspace.
- Destination is Warehouse
- Tried simple select, and still have same issue.
How do I raise support ticket?
Thanks

Community Support
Hi mpros ,
Thanks for confirming the checks and sharing the screenshot.
Since the error is showing only as UnknownErrorCode, it does not provide enough detail to troubleshoot further. At this point, the best option is to raise a support ticket so the Microsoft support team can investigate with the error ID you shared.
You can raise a support ticket directly from the Fabric portal by going to Help & Support (top right) --> Get Microsoft Help --> New Support request.
Please include the request ID (ab444592-4458-4d10-9370-b53d86adc13b), your workspace name, and the steps you followed when creating the Dataflow Gen2 with Warehouse as the destination.
Here is the guide to create Support ticket: How to create a Fabric and Power BI Support ticket - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.
Thank you.

Helper I
Hi v-veshwara-msft ,
currently contacted Microsoft and opened a ticket. What is curious is that EXCEL import is working both for Lakehouse and DW with GEN2 flows while e.g. using Oracle or Snowflake connectors/ds the flow is stopping.
Regards,
Marco
