Visuals won't load for viewer or contributor using direct query connection

I've created a report using a composite data model that includes a direct query to another dashboard.  The viewer can see load the visuals for the original dashboard, but not the one using the direct query link (Admins can view in both dashboards).

During my investigation I have found users in the past who have had similar experiences to you .
The solution given by other forum users was:Your organization is blocking the possibility to use DirectQuery for Power BI datasets.
