Visuals won't load for viewer or contributor using direct query connection

I've created a report using a composite data model that includes a direct query to another dashboard.  The viewer can see load the visuals for the original dashboard, but not the one using the direct...

    Hi cristam ,

     

    During my investigation I have found users in the past who have had similar experiences to you .
    The solution given by other forum users was:Your organization is blocking the possibility to use DirectQuery for Power BI datasets.
