Visuals need to be manually refreshed using the "Refresh Visuals" button after dataset refresh.
Hi,
I have a series of power bi reports in a single workspace that are all set to refresh off event grids from Azure. This is done using power automate and the refresh api.
The datasets refresh without issue, but when users open the report, sometimes, not all the time and not every report, the user needs to click the "refresh visuals" button in the top right. Other times we need to refresh the dataset.
Has anyone encoutered this issue using power automate?
Thanks

Hi @Mdaddona ,
Based on your description, I would surmise that there are several possibilities.
- One possible cause is that the dataset refresh and the report refresh are not synchronized, meaning that the report might still be using the cached data from before the dataset refresh. Data refresh in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
- Or try clearing your browser cache.
