The visualization of the reports I've created are displaying improperly when drilling into the information. It displays fine when using Power BI desktop application. It only breaks once publiushed to the service. I have deleted the items published and republished with same result. I have also deleted the visuals and remade them before republishing as well. Same result. This is true for all reports that use the same visualization. Not just 1, everything, even historical is experiencing the same issues.
Also, if published to an app for my company. No one can see ANY of the reports - everything breaks. Not sure what is happening. It was working fine a week ago and nothing has changed since then.
UPDATE:
It's any of the visuals that are using "Area Chart" - other charts appear unaffected.
The issue where it breaks for anyone who is not the publisher is for all visuals of any type.
Same here. Area Chart. It's absolutely worthless. I've tried republishing and everything. It works fine in Desktop and as soon as I touch it online it turns to mush. It's been a while since I've seen something break this bad. Please fix this!!!
Do you apply a role in the Area Chart visual? No role applied
Which kind data source does it connect to? Tried multiples, currently excel - have tried changing to the source data and updated , same result
Does any error message occur? No error message - still displays, just displays incorrectly
Could you show some screenshots to show the unexpected visual? SS already attached
Same problem. No error messages at all. Looks great on Desktop. Online... they don't render correctly at all. I've clear the cache, tried different browsers, reinstalled the desktop, republished. Hasn't made any difference.
Here's an example - values don't match Y axis...
Here is another example. You can see it almost looks inverted:
Hi @Anonymous
There is some issue with Area Chart reported by others to technical section.
Please check with the following:
Do you apply a role in the Area Chart visual?
Which kind data source does it connect to?
Does any error message occur?
Could you show some screenshots to show the unexpected visual?
Best Regards
Maggie
