Would you please re-publish the report to service for a test? Also, view the report on service with a different browser to see if it works.

Boss actually prefers the horizontal buttons / slicer as more intuitive than cross-filtering the two tables.  Disabling the interactions between the two tables prevents users from mistakenly clicking on them and confusing themselves.
