Hello all,
I understand that if I publish and share a report with certain recipients I also share the underlying "dataset".
My question would be, is there any chance that the report user can look into the "original" underlying dataset which I modified using Power Query? Or in other words, would the recipient of a report link be able to unveal the query steps I was performing to somehow get to the original state of the data?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi @ElStajo
No, if you share access to a Dataset the recipient does not get to see to Power Query steps or transformations, they simply see a set of data they can report on, with no information of what transformations have been applied to it.
Only if you share the PBIX file can the recipient see the steps in Power Query.
Hope this helps
