Virtual Gateway Isn't Showing Up Building Web Page Dataflow

As hopefully you can see in my screenshots below:

• I've been through the process of setting up a virtual network as per this link Create virtual network (VNet) data gateways | Microsoft Learn😞
  
  • made a virtual network with a subnet delegated to Microsoft.PowerPlatform
  • assigned myself the relevant permission as Network Contributor
  • and then gone to the Power BI website to set up the Vnet Data Gateway
• BUT when it comes to making a dataflow that connects to a web page, the dropdown for data gateway still comes back saying "none"...

How do I make it appear somehow!? (Pretty please).. Perhaps does it matter that I'm on a free trial of Power BI Pro?

This could because there are only certain data sources which can be used with the Virtual Gateway which are listed below

Use virtual network (VNet) data gateway and data sources in Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Based on your connection which is a Web connector you will have to use the Standard On-Premise Gateway.
