Using Power BI Report Builder and Dynamics 365 CRM as Datasource

I am trying to connect to Dynamics 365 CRM from Power BI Report Builder. Dynamics 365 CRM option is not available in the datasource.

Please let me know on how to connect to Dynamics 365 CRM datasource.

I'm afraid it's not supported yet.Reporting Services paginated reports in Power BI Report Server support the same data sources that are supported in SQL Server Reporting Services. See the list of Data sources supported by Reporting Services.

Has there been an update to this?  Can we connect PowerBI Report Builder to Dynamics 365 CDS?

You can build dataset using Common Data Service connection in Power BI Desktop. Publish the dataset in Power BI Webservice. Connect to the Power BI dataset in Power BI Report Builder.
