I have put a file in Data Lake Gen 2 Storage and I have tried to connect but Im getting the following error
Ive got the correct URL. I know the file exists, Im logging in OK. Can anyone give me any advice on this one?
Im on Version: 2.75.5649.861 64-bit (November 2019)
After reading some more documentation I changed the URL to https://demostorageaccount.dfs.core.Windows.net.......
and now I am getting this error
hi @DebbieE
Please refer to these documents and the post, it should give you help:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/data-lake-storage-use-power-bi

Lin
I used the top documents to set everyting up and I have followed everything correctly.
Regarding I added my account to the "Storage Blob Data Reader" role in the Data Lake and now the connector works perfectly! I assume you can do this with user groups, too. from the 3rd doc
I have just gone into Azure and Added Storage Blob Data Reader to my account and it works perfectly. The next step is to try it in a Data flow in Service.
Attemped the same thing in a data flow (Which is how I want to connect) and I have added the URL, Connected to my Organisational account. I keep hitting next and nothing is happening.
Im not getting any errors. It just keeps going back to the same log in screen. I wonder if I need to do anything else to get this working?
hi @DebbieE
You may take a look at this document:

thats not what I want to do.
Apparently there is just no connector for Data lake Gen 2 to use as a data source within Dataflows and seeminly no plans to build one so I have voted it up in ideas.
