When I am sharing a dashboard with users, usually an intimation email goes to that user that he has access to a Dashboard. For at least a month, I am facing the issue that this email is not going to users. Is this any bug?
@kapilmahajan Did you share the dashboard with the user before they logged in to Power BI for the first time? - This will cause this behaviour. In addition, there is a setting in the dashboard properties that will disable emailing people, make sure that checkbox is still ticked.

I am sharing with existing users and sharing with the option checked for sending email. But still not getting the email
Have the same problem within my domain. Email 1 is set up as admin. Domain in registered with Power BI with the text file added to the hosting.
Email 2 is set up
Both have subscribed to the Pro license
When Email 1 shares a dashboard with Email 2 using the Share feature which is suppose to send an email - - the sharing works but no email is ever received by Email 2. Email 2 logs on and the dashboard is there.
No emails are received either from other Domains attempting to share externally to mine. So it is both internal & external.
Am very definite about this that there is no set up or cockpit error. Because it works for others and there are not alot of posts on this topic I've done a search to see if my domain is black listed in some way but find nothing there. Receive plenty of other Microsoft emails to it - just never this Power BI Share email. Have also gone thru the Network Solutions Hosting info on email reception problems and verified no filtering.
