Users Personalised Bookmarks Disappear from Power BI App?
Hi,
One of my users has complained to me that his personalised bookmarks seem to be deleting themselves and I have confirmed that this is the case.
Is there a bug currently??
Thanks

Hi Anonymous ,
Your user’s personal bookmarks are disappearing. This could be caused by several factors, such as:
Republishing or replacing the report from Power BI Desktop to the service, which deletes the report and its associated bookmarks.
Making major changes to the report, such as removing fields used by a personal bookmark, which renders the bookmark invalid.
Exceeding the maximum number of personal bookmarks per report, which is 20.Overview of bookmarks in Power BI service reports - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hi Anonymous ,
This makes perfect sense, as my method for updating the app was to upload my changed file, update the app with the new file and delete the old file.
I will just have to let the OneDrive auto refresh do its thing, but it is so slow sometimes!
Thank you.
