User specific access to one single report in a workspace

I have one PBI dashboard in secured workspace which has RLS implemented for 2 security groups with their specific roles.

Without giving viewers access to whole workspace, I have to give viewers access to that specific dashboard.

How to give viewers access to this dashboard to only those 2 security groups? Is this possible? How to achieve this?

Power BI dashboard within a secured workspace for specific security groups while maintaining role-level security (RLS):

  1. Publish Dashboard to App:

    • Publish the dashboard to a Power BI app within the secured workspace.
  2. Add Users to Power BI App:

    • Add specific security groups or members to the Power BI app.
  3. Configure RLS for Dataset:

    • Implement RLS at the dataset level to control data access based on roles.
  4. Assign Roles to Security Group Members:

    • Assign members of the security groups to the relevant roles in the dataset.
  5. Share App Access:

    • Share the Power BI app link or invite users to the app.
