One of my business users who builds reports has included a copilot visual (narrative) in one of his financial reports that he distributes to his department in a PowerPoint presentation.
We have a premium capacity and Copilot is enabled for specific users (mainly report builders).
He wants the PowerPoint presentation to contain live data for the end users.
When folks in his department open the PowerPoint, they are unable to see anything. We recruited one of his users as a volunteer and I've played around with combinations of permissions in the tenant, the app, semantic model and finally the workspace. It seems that the only thing that works to make the report completely functional in the presentation is for me to grant the end user elevated permissions to the workspace itself which is not really practical.
Has anyone encountered this type of scenario and found a solution?

Hi @breiney ,
Have you tried using "Share" instead of "Export", during my testing it worked fine to load out the report in PowerPoint without granting the workspace role.

Zhu
