User driver security filtering (eg country vs state manager users)

Apologies if this is a simple one that I haven't seen before.

 

I have a dashboard with sales by country and state, but I only want my 2 country managers to see the data for their countries and states, and I want my state managers to only see it for their states. I want my CEO and CFO to be able to see the full consolidated and be able to filter country and states groups as they wish.

 

How do I set this up.

    Role based security (different users see different data) cannot be done only with PowerBI Desktop & PowerBI service..no support/ tools for that..You need to design the data model & security in SSAS and then connect PowerBI Desktop or Service to SSAS..with live connection.

    If you don't have SSAS there is no way to apply roles up to now..
