Hi there,
I have an enterprise gateway that I have shared with another use. That user can see the gateway but it does not let him select the gateway. He can add a new connection to the gateway but still won't let him select the connection for that semantic model. Where else can I look?
@sergej_og Thanks for your prompt reply!
Hi @jflores
The information in your diagram indicates that the gateway configuration is incorrect. You can refer to the following document to troubleshoot your issue.
Add or remove a gateway data source - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
View and manage on-premises data gateways (preview) - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn

Hi,
thanks for your response. When he adds the connection it gets added and authenticates but he just can't configue it to use with that model.
Does he have permissions to use this connection. Just to be sure.
I know it sounds strage since he has added the connection by himself.
Otherwise it is a strange issue.
Regards
Hey @jflores ,
obviously the user is allowed to use the gateway.
Is the new added connection a working one?
The setup was successfully done?
SqlServer has special syntax to provide for a successfull connection.
Regards
