User cannot publish through gateway

Hi there,   I have an enterprise gateway that I have shared with another use.  That user can see the gateway but it does not let him select the gateway.  He can add a new connection to the gateway ...

Hey jflores ,
obviously the user is allowed to use the gateway.
Is the new added connection a working one?
The setup was successfully done?
SqlServer has special syntax to provide for a successfull connection.
