User Metrics

Hi, Is there a way to track user metrics for the data viewed in Power BI reports that are only published to be export into pivot tables? Thanks

Hi emmabr. There are two usage metrics you can check on power bi.

1- Default usage metrics: you can turn them on for specific component. Read more: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-modern-usage-metrics

2- You can use the Power Bi Rest API to take logs from the following things: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-auditing#operations-available-in-the-audit-and-activity-logs
