Hi there,
I've installed a 64bit Power BI gateway and a 64bit ODAC Oracle client to enable refreshing data sources from an Oracle database on the PBI server. It is working fine until I need to enable a connection to the same Oracle database from an SSIS package on the same machine. The latter one requires 32 bit Oracle client. However, as soon as I have both 32bit and 64bit Oracle client on the same machine, the PBI server can no longer connect with the Oracle data source. Attached is one of the error messages from the Manage gateways.
The bottom line is I do need to run both Gateway and SSIS from the same machine, and based on what I read, I do need both 64bit and 32bit Oracle client. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks
Eric
Hi, I'm running SSIS via VS 2017, I run into the following error if I only have 64bit Oracle client on my machine. Any idea how to fix this? I've checked my username and password, both of them are correct.
