Hey there,
I am relativley new to Power BI and i would be over the moon if somebody could help me out here 🙂
Following Problem. I have Excel files that need to be displayed in a Power BI reports. Therefore i created a .pbit template that presents the data in the excact way i want to. The template is build on a parameter which need the path to the file as input. Thats how I can manually input the correct excel file but can power Automate also do that automatically for a number of different excel files ?
Something like: Generate report trigger, and then I would declare the input data as well as the template.
I looked briefly into it but at this point im quite clueless.

Hi @Anonymous ,
as far as I know Power Automate cannot create a Report from a pbit.
Sorry about that.
What exactly do you want to do? The appraoch seems to be a little bit different.
You could just change the path as a parameter.
If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍
Best regards
Denis
