Usage Metrics, unable to refresh for all workspaces & reports
Good day,
i have followed the guidance of opening a usage metrics report, saved a copy, edit and changed the filter of the reportid
I am able to do my own custom usage metrics but the data is not up to date, the report only shows of the download report copy last sheduled dates which was beginning last year, i refresh but my dataset dates remain and there's no filters enforced nad no dataset to insert credentials and refresh report with no filters for all workspaces/reports.
Tried opening the copied/edited report view semantic model "but unable to find semantic model"
I tried the powershell option but was b;ocked by security due to excahnge azure access, even though i have PowerBI Admin access on a Pro account
Please Help?
Thank You
Well it should depend on your business request and ressources available to you. Here are some videos on how to use REST APIs via a simple way

The cons out of this option is that you can only visualize activities of only the last 30 days.
But for more than 30 days of activities and automation report you will need to use Powershell to call the APIs and then store the data in a local machine or Azure Blob Storage. If you choose the Local machine option then you will need to install Power BI Gateway and use Power App registration for authentication to the service. You can still use your crendentials but you will have to deal with the MFA and Token expirations.

Honestly, either way this is going to be a learning process.

Best way for accurate results is to build your own report using Power BI Rest APIs Via Powershell option since you are already Admin of the tenant. How do you use Powershell?
