Usage Metrics Report - Views (old format) vs Report Open (New Format)

I've been using usage report metrics and there's a difference in Views by the users in the format of report vs Report Open by the users in new format of report.

1. Is Power BI going to remove the old format of usage report?

2. What's the definition of "Report Open", it's not there in FAQ?

Hi @Greg_Deckler, thanks for a quick reaction. Following are two versions of available report usage metrics.

1. I'm not clear on Report Open definition as it gives me wrong metrics - old views are accurate.

2. I'm searching for the definition of Report opens

3. I'm trying to understand if it's Power BI product which would decide to decommission old usage report or is it my organizations' admin's decision?
