Usage Metrics Not Updated in New Report Setting

Hello,

I am not seeing the usage report data being updated when "New usage report" is turned on. Usage data is updated in the classic version but can someone help me get it updated in the New report?

Today is 16 Nov and last date is for 11 Oct. A message at the bottom of the page suggests checking refresh history and data source credentials in the dataset setting but I am unable to find the Usage Metrics Report dataset.

When I turn off the New Usage Report, I get updated data in the classic version of the usage metrics report. It shows up to 15 Nov (yesterday's usage)

I read somewhere (I cannot find the link to that article) that this might be related to upgrading workspace to the new experience.

So I went to the Workspace tab in the Admin Portal and clicked "Upgrade All". This only made the "Upgrade All" button disappear, as none of the workspaces have been upgraded.

Looking forward to assistance.

Hi, @Anonymous

It refers to the fact that it may take up to 24 hours for new usage data to be imported.

If you select "View dataset" and receive the message "Sorry, we can't find the data set", this is normal. Because the dataset ’Usage Metrics Report‘  cannot be found under the 'Workspaces'-> 'Datasets'.

Make sure you are the owner of the relevant dataset first, then edit credentials and sign in you account again.

If it doesn''t  work, you may need to delete and recreate the Usage Metrics report.

The section dealing with updating usage metrics credentials was useful. I had to sign in.

Will it now take 24 hours for the changes to take effect?

I am unable to view the dataset. It says:

Sorry, we couldn't find that dataset

It may have been deleted or you may not have access to view it.

I am an admin.

Hi, @Anonymous

It's important to understand that differences can occur when comparing the improved usage metrics report with its predecessor. For more details, please refer to Monitor usage metrics in the new workspace experience (preview) .

Q: The data doesn't seem up to date. A: Note that it might take up to 24 hours for new activity data to appear in the usage report.

If you suspect data consistency or refresh issues, it might make sense to delete the existing Usage Metrics Report dataset. Then you can run View Usage Metrics again to generate a new dataset with its associated improved usage metrics reports.
