Usage Metrics - Difference between Report opens and Total page views

Hi all,

would you know what's the difference between Report opens and Total page views in the Usage metrics reports?

I would expect every report opens to have one page view, but in reality, I'm seeing that the number can be bigger than the total page views. Awkward, right?

Thank you!!

G.

Hi @WillATT ,

The difference between Report opens and Total page views in the Usage metrics reports is that Report opens counts the number of times someone opens a report, while Total page views counts the number of times someone views a specific page within a report. Changing report pages is not considered an additional view.

Therefore, it is possible that Report opens is smaller than Total page views, if someone opens a report and views multiple pages within it. For example, if someone opens a report with three pages and views all of them, it will count as one Report open and three Total page views.
