Hi,
I am connecting a power bi report from Snowflake, it is a large dataset and we have a premium per user workspace which I have enabled and tried publishing the report to this.
I am recieving the following error:
An error occured while attempting to publish. Unable to read data from the transport connection, the connection was closed.
Any advice?
Hi @karma123 ,
This could be due to a few reasons. First off, make sure that your Gateway and your Power BI Desktop are the latest and greatest versions.
After that, one of the most likely is the timeout properties of your data source or in Power BI. You can ask the database person if there is a timeout. And, you can modify the timeout in your report itself. For example, in SQL, adding the Timeoutoption can be helpful: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/sql-database
