Upload data using existing On-premise existing Power BI gateway to Fabric Lakehouse or warehouse

I am trying to upload some data using existing Power BI on premise gateway to the new Fabric Lakehouse/warehouse using " New FataflowGen Gen2" option. The steps I have followed are

  1. Created a warehouse on Fabric
  2. To load data, Clicked on "New DataflowGen2"
  3. Clicked on "Import from SQL server. It gave me an option for Connection SettingsSKU_0-1701881016632.png

  4. Then I chose my existing Power BI "On -premise gateway"
  5. SKU_1-1701881092935.png

I got this warning message "The selected connection has an on-premises data gateway that is different than the project's gateway. Committing will apply to all queries in this mashup."

I am not sure what this warning message means. I googled it but couldnt find any posts related to this warning message.

I would like to know what does this mean and can I progress  ignoring this warning message.  Will it impact the existing on-premise connection data gateway? Any help would be appreciated

I found a link that thelped me found my issue:

https://sqlreitse.com/2023/08/01/getting-on-premises-data-into-microsoft-fabric-using-the-data-gatew...

I already had the connection I wanted in my connections from PBI, but I realized that it was case sensitive, I was trying to connect with all caps but when checking my connections, that one was in small caps.

After adding it the same way as it was listed in my connection, the connection was automatic.

Hope this helps!
