Updating Dashboard Visuals Upon Report Visual Updated

Hi, So currently the process is to publish from Power Bi Desktop, go to power Bi Service, under reports I would send pin my visuals to by dashboard. The issue I come across is that if I publish...

Hi,

 

I can’t reproduce your issue.  Report in service can be automatically updated after being published from desktop.

 

This is the visual in desktop:

 

 

After publishing and pining to dashboard:

 

 

Now I changed the visual in desktop.

 

 

After publishing, the dashboard look like below.

 

 

 

You can see that the report above is changed to the same with what showed in desktop.

 

Can you tell me which visuals you are using and what update you have made on them?

 

And also I advise you to download the latest power bi desktop and try again.

    Hi AlexChen, try a tile metric instead of a graph. Change the font colour and pin it to dashboard. You'll notice the font always remains black.
