Is there a way to update te version/make canges to a published report in a workspace app without changing the link?
I assume it may be in deployment pipelines which I don;t ave access to, but am hoping there is a way to do this that I am missing.
Previously on a report server I could jst replace report with new version retaining the link, bu in the cloud this feature does not appear available?
Aprpreciate any advice

Yes. That will create a new URL. Every report you publish gets a unique GUID and that GUID gets a URL.
Just overwrite your old report with the new one - the GUID will remain the same. Then update the app. Your end users will never notice, other than they will have the new report.

MCSA: BI ReportingThe link never changes. When you update a report, it overwrites the previous report and the URL remains the same. If you publish it in an app (best practice) same thing - the URL to the report in the app never changes.
Where are you seeing it change? Are you deleting then publishing? That will cause a new URL to be created.

MCSA: BI Reportingo Yes I am seeing this in the app. When I have a report in the APP, I want to add an update, I thought I had to remove the previous one and add the new version. This then causes a URL change.
Am I doing this wrong, will it autmatically overwrite the previous version if I add a report of the same name?
