Update slicer value for kpi on dashboard

Hi everyone!

I have a dashboard with a KPI that shows a value for a specific year as the image below.

I have different alerts to follow up if this value changes. The problem I'm facing is that next year I will have to create again a new dashboard with all of the KPIs and alarms in order to keep following the changes on the values. Is there any way to reuse everything that is done and just change the year slicer on the report and see the new values on the dashboard? It would be really helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @hasier ,

Have you tried putting the KPI and its related visuals on the same report page and pinning it to a live page?
The live page will change as you make changes to the original report.

Hi @hasier ,

I don't quite understand your need, refreshing the content on this dashboard doesn't solve your problem?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for your answer. The problem I am facing is that when you pin a KPI to a dashboard it has assigned a concrete slicer on the report, in this case its a year filter. So the value updates if it changes on that year and it works fine with the alarms, but the issue I have is that the KPIs are set for the year 2022, so I do not know how to change them all to the values for 2023. If I change the year slicer on the report it does not change on the dashboard and I have to pin it again and create new alerts. It would help me a lot if everything I have done could change the "year" value on the dashboard.

Let me know if I still was not clear because it is a bit difficult to explain it.

Thank you!!!
