Update in role level security in desktop

Hi all,

I developed a model in desktop and published also in service. Data source is a share point folder excel file and connection has been made for data source to service. There are 3 role-level security roles added.

Now I need to add 2 more role - level security and modify existing role. If i change hte desktop file, do I need to republish again?
