Unused Reports in Power BI

Is there a way to get the list of unused reports in Power BI? Report usage metrics report gives information at specific report level however i need consolidated list of all unused reports

You can contact your power bi tenant admin you can get the activity logs/Audit logs to identify the unused reports.

Hi @powerbiexpert22 There is a new Rest API that provides you with a list of unused artifacts.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/admin/groups-get-unused-artifacts-as-admin 

You can specify the GroupID or use https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/admin/groups-get-groups-as-admin to get a list of Group IDs and loop through to get the full list.

Then you need to look into ActivityEvent REST API.

You can then build a report across your tenant with years of history.

Im using Fabric pipeline to Get the data and storing it om Fabric Warehouse.

You can also use powershell or powerautomate or Something else lile notebook. If you have a data warehouse you can store the data there or you can store it on sharepoint, onedrive or Something at your choice. A lot of opportunities.

I also have a project now getting data from Log Analytics so I can see usage on page level in every report. This is much more complexe, but doable!
