Understanding Metrics Report Open x Report Views x Page Views
I'm currently having some trouble working with some power BI usage metrics
On the metrics page I have three kinds of information that are not very clear, Report Opens, Report Views and Page Views.
By what I'm used to I think Page views count 1 for everytime an user open, reloads or change pages. (this is my biggest number)
Report Views should count 1 for everytme an user opens the report, no matter how many pages it change. (this is my smallest number)
And I have something called report opens, that I don't have a clue what that is, when it counts a +1? (this number is bigger than report view and smaller than page views).
Hey Anonymous ,
as far as I understood report open and report view should be the same:
Monitor usage metrics in the new workspace experience (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
The following blog article should describe the metrics, but to be honest I don't understand you case:
Maybe give it 24 hours as the data need some time to be up to date.
If you need any help please let me know.If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍Best regardsDenisBlog: WhatTheFact.biFollow me: twitter.com/DenSelimovic
