Unable to setup Dataset refresh to Azure Analysis Services
Running into an issue trying to setup schedule data refresh. I'm not connecting against on-prem (asazure://southcentralus.asazure.windows.net/**********) so didn't think I need to go through the gateway.
Error notes: Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again.
When trying to edit the credentials the Authentication method drop down is blank. Any ideas why that's the case?
Refresh is not supported for Azure Analysis Service source import mode. Please use "Connect Live". You can refer to a similar thread below:

Thank you for the reference, will this feature be supported in the near future or not at all. We have many use cases that would need to pull in multiple data sets from AAS and do additional transformations (joins/filtering/data column merges) before it is useful in building the visualizations. Once the visualizations are built it wouldn't be very useful if the resulting dataset could not be refreshed when published to Power BI Service.
@v-sihou-msft any update on this? is refersh in import mode possible now?
Hi I am looking to schedule auto refreshes the same way from Azure AS in import mode, has this feature been updated or still supports only live?
