I published a report created with powerbi desktop to the PowerBi dashboard, and I am a contributor of the report. However I cannot save a modified report and the error I got is below. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks!

I am facing the same issue. When I publish the dashboard to the PBI service and try to edit and save I am getting this error.
I am also having this same problem when I try to copy the report as per step 2 of this process https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-datasets-copy-reports
The report was not created by me, but I have a Pro licence.

Hi @VickyV ,
Sorry for that, but we cannot reproduce this issue on my side. What is the way you used to save the modified report, republished in Power BI Desktop or use get data to replace in Power BI Service? Does this problem also happen in other report? Could you please verify if you can edit and save report in Power BI Service? Have you changed the data source of this report?
Best regards,
Hi Dong,
I didn't republish the modified report, my problem is on a published report in PBI service, I cannot edit it and save the changes. I can modify my report in PBI Desktop just fine. This doesn't happen in other reports. I added another data source (SQL DB) for this report which I have access to, but I can modify the report just fine in PBI desktop so I don't think it's the problem.
Thanks,
Wenqi
Can you please share the below details.
1. Data Source
2. Connectivity Mode
3. workspace
Have you tried to re-pro the issue in Premium/Shared wotkspace.
