Hi,
We have a report that pulls several reports from one drive and combines them to a single report.
Earlier today we encountered an error saying we had a format mismatch in one of the numeric fields.
We fixed that, and the report is pulled into power bi desktop with no issue.
However the refresh of Power bi service displays the below issue. It seems he's stuck on the prevous version of the file with format error.
We tried:
1 - Resetting the permission level to "organizational" on the fixed report.
2 - Reconfiguring the gateway.
3 - Renaming the file and re-connecting it.
The issue still persists.
Are there any more available solutions? Thank you!
Hi, @Nataliia ;
You could try to delete the dataset in the service and republish it, or try another account to publish it.

Hi, @v-yalanwu-msft
We're trying to find a solution to avoid deleting the dataset as it has a pretty granulated permission level, we'd like to avoid having to recreate..
So we're looking to see if we can find a solution to avoid doing that unless absolutely unavoidable.
Thanks.
Hi @Nataliia
If the issue was resolved in desktop, did you try publishing that file on the workspace and refreshing it?
I think the Service version will need to be updated before the next refresh.
Thanks,
Veena
Yes, after we saw it was OK in desktop we tried to re-publish, but it didn't help and the refresh still shows the same error.
Thanks,
Nataliia
