Hello,

I have tried to read about it for the past 2 days. but couldn't find the solution, so I decided to ask here.

I have been having a same error but on different tables.
1. I have set everything on Organizational level.
2. the dataset is not having issue to get refreshed from Desktop app. only getting error on the service.

Please help.

  • Hi! this is really weird. I can only think about the refresh flow you have in there. Be sure that the views are really returning data when the schedule refresh is run. It happends that the tables read by the view are been inserted or haven't finished a process when power bi tries to read and the error comes up.

    I hope that helps

    Hi Anonymous ,

As the blog said, It seems that you are trying to connect to a table or worksheet or something in your data source that has been deleted or been renamed

And from this thread, someone also experienced this kind of error when he did some Piovit/Unpiovit column operations. This error can also be cause by permissions issues. One possible explanation for this error is that the credentials used in the scheduled refresh do not have access to all the tables. If they are different you will need to double check the permissions or talk to your DBA about this.

You may check each item mentioned in your refresh history to determine what is the problematic table/column/value.

Also make sure that the Power BI Desktop is the latest version and you've set the correct user with sufficient premission in the data source of your gateway. If the user is correct, try to delete and re-create the data source. If it still doesn't work, try to save your pbix in another name and publish it as a new report to another workspace.
