For the past three days, any reports that are accessing data in SharePoint or from Dataverse are creating errors during their scheduled refresh. I can refresh these reports without any issues in PBI Desktop, but after publishing and refreshing, I get the following error.
Data source error{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidConnectionCredentials","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidConnectionCredentials","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"The credentials provided for the Web source are invalid.

It seems to have coincided with the Office 365 outage earlier this week, but I am not sure it is related.
For a few reports, they are trying to pull data from an Excel spreadsheet in SharePoint, and for another report it is trying to read a table in Dataverse. I get essentially the same error in both.
Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance!
Luuk
Solved! Go to Solution.
I was able to resolve my issue!
I had to go into Settings -> Manage Connections and Gateways (in app.powerbi.com) where I could see all my connections. Clicking the status icon showed that the connections I was having issues with were Offline. I was able to re-enter my credentials there (click on the ... next to the name field and select Settings), and then clicked the status icon again. At that point, it showed that the connection was Online. I refreshed my Semantic Models after that for each of my reports and they worked!
I hope that helps someone in the future!

Hi @LuukP ,
Are you able to access that file directly in SharePoint? That would be the first step to confirm that you have permissions. Then, the next step would be to confirm that your gateway is working t oget tothat file. AND, confirm that the gateway server itself is back up and running if this is related to the global outage. Not only the server needs to be running, but all the Power BI services are "on".

Hi @collinq ,
Yes, I have confirmed that I have permissions to the files in question, and that the gateway is running and at the latest version. They still fail. Any reports that are running against our SQL server only are still working, it is only those reports that access a SharePoint file or a Dataverse table that fail, even though I can access those sources directly using my credentials.
Thanks!
